The fee for the first session is $395, and after that the fee is $315 for each session.
Because Dr Kimber is a psychiatrist, you will receive Medicare rebates for all your appointments for at least 50 therapy sessions each year. The rebate for the first session is $262.10. The rebate for all other sessions is currently $184.90. This rebate will likely increase by approximately $5 from July 1st. Also, when you reach the Medicare safety nets, this will also cause these rebates to increase.
If you are currently living in a regional city or a rural area, you can choose to be bulk billed, which means Medicare will cover all of the costs of your appointments.
